Oldenburg’s art highlights the beauty in everyday scenes, with gardens and farmland often serving as recurring themes. Known for her dreamlike, atmospheric effects, she achieves these through a unique process of applying, rubbing in, scratching through, and layering paint. In addition to her fine art, she has maintained a successful portrait business since 1976, with works included in both corporate and private collections nationwide.
Carol currently resides in York, PA, where she runs OMG Studios with her daughter, Kara Oldenburg-Gonzales, in the vibrant Royal Square District of downtown York.
She is also represented by Garth Gallery located at 22 S. Second Street in Columbia, PA.
